Edgewater Out of School Care Centre Inc (Edgewater OSHC) commenced in 1989 as a not-for-profit service supplying out-of-school hours care to the local Edgewater community by founder Sue O'Byrne.
To this day, Edgewater OSHC remains a not-for-profit service with close relationships formed with Edgewater Primary School and the City of Joondalup.
Our Educators are comprised of staff who previously attended Edgewater OSHC, as well as other qualified and experienced educators who have joined the team over the years.
Our Education Leader, Aimee Cruickshanks, brings over 6 years of experience in out-of-school care, as well as several years working with children with additional needs.
Benjamin Nimmo is our Assistant Coordinator and joint Nominated Supervisor. Ben has over 10 years of experience in childcare, including several years working on Disney Cruise Lines!
Karyn Nimmo is our Administration Manager and looks after the accounts and day-to-day administration, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This allows Aimee, Ben, and the team to focus on providing the best care for your children. With over 30 years of experience in administration and bookkeeping, including voluntary roles in other OSHC centres, Karyn brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role.
The Edgewater OSHC management committee is made up of
families of children attending Edgewater OSHC, led by our President, Jenna Ardagh.
Each year, an AGM is held, and new parents are most welcome to join as either management or general committee members.
